Joe Lydon is a GIS Analyst and Geologist with Síor Consulting, holding a joint Bachelor of Science in International Field Geoscience from University College Cork and the University of Montana.
With academic and professional experience in map creation using ArcMap and ArcGIS, Joe brings technical knowledge in geospatial analysis, scientific programming, risk assessment, hazard mapping, and hydrogeology. His project work spans Ireland, Jamaica, and the United Kingdom. Proficient in python scripting and its application to GIS for workflow optimisation, Joe also has a strong interest in data science and machine learning, anticipating further development of these skills working at Síor Consulting.
