Nicolas Vargas is an experienced GIS analyst consultant at Síor Consulting, holding a degree in cadastral engineering and geodesy from the Universidad Distrital de Bogotá, Colombia. His capability encompasses a comprehensive understanding of geomatics, geostatistics, and advanced GIS scripting, with specific attention to Python for spatial analysis and process modelling.
With more than four years of experience in both field data collection and GIS analysis, Nicolas has refined his skills in spatial database management, topography, and photogrammetry, making valuable contributions to a diverse range of local projects in Colombia. He has a strong interest in data science and machine learning and is proactively improving his knowledge in these domains.
