Marc Girona-Mata is a civil engineer, hydrologist, and data scientist with 10+ years of experience in geoscientific research and consultancy.
Marc has geoscientific expertise in hydrology, water resources management, and climate adaptation. He also has technical expertise in machine learning, scientific programming, environmental modelling, geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and risk mapping. He has worked on projects across Europe, the United Kingdom, South Asia, East Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
Currently, Marc is pursuing a PhD at the University of Cambridge, focusing on AI for Environmental Risks, in collaboration with the British Antarctic Survey.
