Marc Girona-Mata

Marc Girona-Mata is a water resources engineer and geospatial data scientist, with a solid background and more than 6 years of experience in hydrology, water resources, hydroclimatic extremes (flooding and drought), environmental modelling, and hazard mapping. His technical expertise spans a wide range of techniques, including numerical modelling, remote sensing, machine learning, and geospatial analysis.

Marc holds an MEng in Civil Engineering (Technical University of Catalonia, BarcelonaTECH), an MSc in Hydrology and Water Resources Management (Imperial College London), and an MRes in Environmental Data Science (University of Cambridge). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence for Environmental Risks at the University of Cambridge and the British Antarctic Survey.
