Marc Girona-Mata is a water resources engineer, hydrologist, and data scientist, with a solid academic background and more than 7 years of experience in consultancy.
He has technical expertise in hydrology, water resources management, machine learning, geospatial analysis, scientific programming, environmental modelling, remote sensing, risk assessment and hazard mapping. He has worked on projects in Australia, Comoros, Grenada, Ireland, India, Jamaica, Palau, Nepal, Saint Lucia, Samoa, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Marc is currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence for Environmental Risks at the University of Cambridge and the British Antarctic Survey.
