Emma is a new member of the team and will be in charge of the management and maintenance of the Síor Wellbeing System.
In 2018, she graduated from University College Cork with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Public Health Science.
From there, she worked in the University Health Department as a Health Promotion Project and Support Worker. She then moved on to do administrative and clinic support work in a child and adolescent mental health service.
Emma’s work in Síor will involve developing the company’s wellbeing policies and procedures. She is dedicated to promoting and protecting Síor staff’s health and wellbeing to ensure a healthy work/life balance. She takes a holistic approach to health, encompassing a community member’s mind, body and life. She will be working closely with all members of the Síor community, disseminating and monitoring our Síor Wellbeing System. She will be there to support and encourage staff, developing and administering programmes to enhance their physical and mental health and to create a culture of wellness in our workspace. She aims to create a positive work environment that encourages community members to make healthy choices and provide them with the tools that they need to do so.
